Meet Our Team
Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the process.
At Healing Tree, we are a team of therapists who share a common approach — trauma-informed, depth-oriented, and genuinely invested in understanding what’s underneath your struggles, not just what’s showing up on the surface.
While each of us brings different training, specialties, and areas of focus, we are united by a belief that real, lasting change comes from feeling truly understood — and from working at a pace that feels safe.
We’d love to help you find the right fit.

My approach is gentle but purposeful, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. My focus is on complex trauma, dissociation, and dissociative disorders — including DID — and I'm deeply committed to helping people move toward something that feels like genuine change, not just better coping.

CORY DANKNER (he/him)
Counselling Intern
I help individuals identify and overcome obstacles in pursuit to a more meaningful and fulfilled life. We live in a world that constantly tells us who we should be, how we should feel, and how our lives ought to look. It is easy to become disconnected from ourselves or begin viewing our struggles through a lens of self-criticism. Together, we explore how your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and coping strategies developed within the context of your lived experience, moving away from the question, "What is wrong with me?" toward a deeper understanding of "What happened to me?" and "How did I learn to survive?".
