Psychologist and Co-Director
I am a psychologist specializing in helping individuals who are caught in a pattern of unhealthy and frustrating relationships, and long for authentic and meaningful connections. My skills and experience allow me to get to the bottom of the issue quickly and effectively, so that you can overcome them and learn better ways of relating to others and ultimately, yourself.
I am a psychologist who works with individuals and couples who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, chronic illness, grief, trauma, and relationship problems of all types. As a person and a therapist, I am always humbled by the people that enter my office, and do not take for granted the strength and courage it takes to seek help and open up.
Trauma. Chronic Illness. Grief. Life Transitions.
I am a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in helping adults struggling with anxiety, depression and relationship issues. My skills allow you to become aware of any underlying issues contributing to your current struggles and of the impact that some of these issues may have on your well-being.
I have experience working with body image concerns, eating disorders, trauma, depression, and anxiety with children, adolescents, and adults. I believe a strong therapeutic alliance to be an essential foundation of our work together. As such, I aim to foster a safe interpersonal space for you to be seen and heard in the exploration of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.
I specialize in helping adults struggling with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, difficulty with life transitions, depleted self-esteem, body image struggles, as well as vocational, academic, relationship, sexual and burnout difficulties. My primary goal is to provide a safe environment for my clients experiencing life difficulties to help you develop effective and ongoing coping skills.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, eating disorders and body image, and relational trauma among adolescents and adults. My focus is on creating a warm and empathetic space where you may feel understood, respected and supported unconditionally.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions, with children, adolescents and adults. I believe in respecting each person’s unique motivations in seeking therapy, and aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space in which we can work at each client’s pace.
I help individuals identify and overcome obstacles en route to developing a more meaningful and fulfilled life. More than ever, we are constantly exposed to opinions and information through both virtual and physical social networks that transform our self-perception. I am passionate about working with individuals to increase self-discovery and self-awareness around their authentic needs, desires, and sense of self.
